    Description
    1934 CHICAGO Century of Progress
    SAFETY GLASS SHARPSHOOTER
    Good Luck souvenir medallion coin

The Century of Progress World's Fair was held in Chicago in 1933 and 1934 in observance of the city's centennial. One popular attraction was the
    Safety Glass exhibit
in the Travel and Transportation building. The superiority of Safety Glass was demonstrated by a screen-enclosed tunnel through which visitors were invited to throw baseballs at panels of glass. The ordinary glass would "shatter and scatter," but the ball would "actually bounce back from a piece of safety glass." Everyone who threw a ball at the exhibit received a free Good Luck coin.
Here's an example. One side says
CARRY THIS COIN AND  BE LUCKY,
with pictures of a wishbone, a horseshoe, and a four-leaf clover, and, underneath,
USE SAFETY GLASS FOR GREATER SAFETY.
In the center is the world's fair logo. On the other side, it says
    SAFETY GLASS SHARPSHOOTER,
with a baseball smashing into a pane of glass. Some wear and corrosion as shown.
