    Description

    Handsome fold-out 1969 Texaco road map of Portland and vicinity, printed more than 48 years ago.
    The map opens up to 18" x 30½" and has great detail on old street and highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
    The coverage area extends from St. Marys to Happy Valley, between Bridgeton and Westmoreland, including Beaverton, Willamette Heights, and Parkrose.
    On the reverse side there are inset plans of Vancouver, Washington and the Milwaukie-Lake Oswego area.
    The map was published by Texaco in 1969 and is dated in the legend. The code in the lower margin is 8-QQ. The code on the back cover is 692.
    Condition:
    The map is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with scattered pencil marks from a previous owner and
