    Description

    Handsome fold-out 1973 Texaco road map of Colorado, printed more than 44 years ago.
    The map opens to 18" x 23" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
    On the reverse side there are inset plans of the United States Air Force Academy, Boulder, Pueblo, the Colorado Springs-Pikes Peak region, and the Denver mountain area.
    The map was distributed by Texaco in 1973 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 9-UU, and the code on the back cover is 731.
    Little "T" symbols on the map locate Texaco service stations on major highways.
