Thanks for looking.Over all good condition to very good for the age. Not excellent as a whole and i rarely, rarely every say mint(personal opinion it is "overused"). These belonged to a friend of mine's Brother-N-Law, so i do not know the true history. It is not an original "CASE" display case. I would consider them to be purchased at different times with the possibility of being, carried used & lighty sharpened. Not the light scratches to the blades, the faded blade etchings, the worn inlay shields. All this said it is a very nice collection.
All have Blade Etching Long Tail "C" xx under the tail "Razor Edge" Stainless Steel Blades.
All Have Beautiful Stag Handles. I could not locate the 4 dots .... on all knives to to the Tang Mounts.
The frame on the display case is oak, it has some rough spots.
The foam is a faded red.
The medallion in the center is a "Case" Pocket Button Sharpener.
The SSP abbreviation stands for Stainless Steel Blades & Springs, Blade edges are polished.
The SAB abbreviation stands for Saber Ground Blade.
The L abbreviation stands for Lockback.
Trapper 5254 SSP. has a little dried oil on the tip of the blade see photos.
Cheetah 5111 1/2 LSSP.
Stockman 5347 SSP.
Folding Hunter 5265 SAB SSP.
Senator 5233 SSP.
Serpentine Jack 52037 SSP.
Clasp 5172 SSP Handmade.
Set will be sold "as-is"!! Ask questions first if you want extra photos i can do them. If the Glass is broken in shipment i will refund that only.
i do not mean to sound "rude". However i have sold several "higher end" items over my time with eBay and then the "Buyer's remorse" starts, by the time i am through "obliging" the buyer i am out of pocket. with eBay they always favor the buyer and once you have a negative mark it takes 12 months to drop this, i do not have the data but it has to reflect negatively on your sales. i know you may say well you over represented it. Check my feedback history i do my level best NOT to misrepresent if anything i want to "Over" Deliver. It just seems once someone pays a higher price they begin with the regrets??? once we come to a deal it will be a deal, you need to be sure you are satisfied upfront. of course unless there is damage (with proof) during shipping, i will honor that.
