VINTAGE LL BEAN “SWING GUARD” Cheetah style Pocketknife. From the information I was able to find, KA Bar manufactured these “cheetah” style swing guard knives for LL Bean from the early 1940’s up through the 1950’s. I’ve included a picture(#6) that shows a KA BAR right beside the LL BEAN . And as you can clearly see, the knives are basically identical,( KA Bar knife not included). This particular knife is in excellent condition. It has a very strong snap and the rough black handles are in great condition, with no pin cracks. This a a hard to find knife that will be a good addition to your collection.
