Description
Hi, I am Steve Pfeiffer, author of the bookCollecting Case knives - Identification and Price Guide
. I have been collecting, buying, and selling CASE and other brands of vintage and modern pocket knives since 1973.
I am offering some fine collectible pocket knives for sale. See my other auction listings for more collectible knives.
Case XX 1940-1964 large jack, pattern # 5299 ½ at 4-1/8” closed.
Brass liners and pins. Old style pinned shield.
Genuine stag handles. Handles have a weathered appearance from pocket carry.
The front handle has a tight hairline or grain line between the shield and the top bolster.
Used, carried, and sharpened.
Blades show some sharpening loss, stains, patina. The very tip of the main clip blade is broken.
Both blades have thunderous strong snap with half stops.
Each blade has very slight wobble.
A great collectible knife to clean up, or this would make a great EDC knife with blades of Case’s famous CV (carbon) steel.

Sales to USA Locations Only - Buyer must be at least 18 years of age.
Some states have started requiring eBay to collect sales tax on items going to these states. eBay has a list of those states that have started collecting sales tax in 2019 on online purchases. This is nothing I have control over and the sales tax is automatically added to your total by eBay if you reside in one of these states.
