    Description

    Antique IXL George Wostenholm Sheffield Pen Knife. Horn Handle Pocket Knife. Condition is "Used".
    This is a nice example of a IXL pen knife made by George Wostenholm of Sheffield England. It has two blades that are both in nice shape with minimal sharpening loss. The main blade has very good snap in both positions, the secondary is quiet but stays open and shut.
    The handle covers are made from a beautiful Buffalo horn. This example specifically has very good coloration and patterns, I tried to capture it in the photos but it looks better in real life. The secondary blade has a key stamp on the tang. I’m not sure how old this knife is but I’d guess sometime from the 20s-40s
    Overall it’s a very nice pen knife made by a desirable manufacturer.
