    Description

Antique Needham Hill St. Jigged Bone Pruner Knife. Sheffield Made Hawkbill Knife.
Up for sale is an antique hawksbill pruning knife made in Sheffield England. This knife was produced by Needham Hill St. I’m not sure how old it is but I would guess pre 1892 as it does not have “England” stamped after Sheffield which was required for export after 1892.
The knife is in good condition overall, featuring gorgeous checkered bone handle covers that show no Pocket wear and are free from cracks or chips. There is a lanyard bail that swings freely that is ready to accept a nice lanyard for carry. This would make a great knife to carry and use as a utility knife as the blade has seen some use already as shown in the pictures.
The blade snaps well in both the open and closed position, this knife was made without a halfstop. Overall this is a great knife for those who are looking for a utility knife to carry, or if you collect pruning knives!
    It is 4” closed.
