    Description

This is a cherry red cord. It will work fine on most old phones but color will not match perfectly. It is pretty close (see the pictures). Each end has no curl for about an inch. Each is new in a factory bag.
This cord will only work on Mickey phones that use the modular connector. Some required a hardwired "spade tip" cord. In general it will work on just about any phone made in the last 30 years
    except
Crosley, some Coca Cola phones, or other ones that have one or both ends "hardwired." If your cord "clips" in on both ends, it will work fine.
    Notice the various
    pictures showing the cord.
    Length:
Relaxed the curly part of this cord is about 42 inches long,
    NOT 25 FEET
. It is called a 25 foot cord because 25 feet of material goes into the curling machine. This naming scheme is confusing but it's the standard.
    25 foot cords
    should not be used
on desk phones unless precautions are taken. The cord needs to hang by its own weight to keep the coils from tangling. This holds true for any manufacturer. De-tanglers won't help.
This is a high quality generic cord,
    made in China
    with
    gold plated contacts.
It is made by Cablesys, formerly ICC.
