This brochure is an example of the fascist propaganda distributed at the Italian Pavilion at the 1933 Century of Progress World's Fair in Chicago.  It portrays an Italy that never existed.  On the other hand - it contrasts Italy's enormous ancient architectural legacy with modernist designs. Italy's presence at the Fair was controversial but Mussolini saw it as an opportunity to whitewash his murderous activities with this kind of PR.  We all know how that turned out (indeed as it usually turns out with fascists) - with Mussolini's brain's leaking out while his feet were tied up to a pole.
