Description
This listing is for a single deck Goldpoint selector switch. You can choose between a 1 pole/1 circuit, 2 pole/2 circuits, 3 pole/3 circuits or 4 pole/4 circuits. See diagram below. Goldpoint selector switches were designed for high quality audio applications andare easy to use. Each switch position is clearly labeled
on both sides
of the PC boards,
"1, 2, 3, etc." and the common (pole) connections are labeled "C".
They are
RoHS compliant.
All Goldpoint selector switches have 30 degree switching angles. This means that each knob position will point 30 degrees away from its adjacent position(s). (Our 24-position stepped attenuators have 15 degree switching angles - each adjacent knob position.)
A second "Stop Screw" is used to set (or change) the maximum number of switch positions.
Never move the first stop screw (the one installed at index position "0").
You can see it in on the indexing mechanism in the first photo shown above.
4 different switch wafers are available (1 pole, 2 pole, 3 pole and 4 pole - different circuit configurations). The following diagram may help you choose which switch wafer/configuration you need. Please let us know which one you want when you place your order. The number of poles
available on the switch will determine the maximum number of throws you can have. For example, if you need a 1 pole/circuit, you have up to 12 throws available. For a 2 pole you have up to 6 throws available. The switch can be set for any number of throws up to their maximum.
