    Orig Vintage 1930s GREAT LAKES DREDGE & DOCK CO 7.75” EMPLOYEE JACKET PATCH
    This auction is for a very scarce employee jacket patch from the Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company.  The patch belonged to an employee who worked on the 1933 World’s Fair site preparation along Lake Michigan prior to the building of the Century of Progress exhibit buildings.  The 7 ¾” diameter patch is wool felt and is stamped by the maker on the back, Triangle Pennant Co, Inc. The overall condition is Fine to  VF with light wear, soiling, and several thin spots in the red felt visible when held up to a strong light.  Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.  See my other auctions for other Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co items - I will combine multiple purchases to save you postage.
