A hard-to-find find 1930th era REMINGTON model R3853 Hawkbill Pruner folder with jigged bone handle scales and silver-nickel shield. This knife has been used quite a bit - the main blade has been heavily re-sharpened; the smaller blade is MIA. Main blade's spring is not tight so blade wobbles a bit in the open position. Remington's "bone stag" handle scales with nickel-silver bolsters and pins is in good shape. One small ship on one side is noted for accuracy. The knife is about 4" / 10.2 cm closed; the blade is about 2-1/8" / 5.4 cm long. One of the last Depression-era Remington folders; a hard-to-find type.
