  • Condition: The Schrade Old Timer (3-blade) folding knife in this auction is in very nice condition. Released by the company in 1989, the pocket knife was never used and until I took the photos for this auction, it was never out of the factory box. The blades have been nicely polished; factory-sharpened, and are not stained. Each blade opens easily and snaps tightly back into the case. The handles are original, solidly attached, and not cracked or damaged. The handles are synthetic (Delrin) and nicely articulated to imitate old school bone. Although the box is included with the auction, it sure shows its age (see my last 3 photos). Please enlarge and closely review each of the photos I’ve included with this auction and consider them an important part of the description......jeff

    THE SCHRADE STORY -
Catapulted from his press button switchblade patent in 1892, George Schrade embarked on a journey that would eventually lead to one of the most iconic knife brands ever. Schrade knives are rooted in history, seeing the turn of a century (twice!), the Industrial Revolution, a great depression, 2 world wars and a man on the moon. During this time, knife companies have come and gone, but Schrade has held strong.
