Texaco Marine China Soup Dinner Mug Texaco Freighter Dinner Ware Vintage Gas Oil

Description

This scarce diner weight ironstone soup mug with green pinstripes at the top and bottom and an image of the Texaco flag on the side was manufactured by Mayer China in the 1930s or 1940s. This was the marine logo so the mug was probably used on a ship in the oil transport fleet.  It measures two and a half inches tall by four and a half inches wide and is in near mint condition with no chips or cracks.
