Texaco Waterways Service Pocket Pelorus - Carefree Outboarding - Cruising Chart

Description

This Pocket Pelorus was a promotional item given to customers by Texaco Waterways Service.  It was copyrighted in 1939.  This version was printed in March 1956.
A pelorus is used by mariners to figure the bearings of objects such as buoys and lighthouses.  It measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches square and is printed on coated, heavy stock paper to hold up in damp conditions.  Excellent condition.
Carefree Outboarding  was a guide to smooth trouble free operation of your motor. 6 inches x 4 inches. Nice old pictures.
1956 Cruising Chart is of Atlantic Coast by the Texas Company.
