VINTAGE 1903-32 SCHATT & MORGAN ~ Jigged Bone ~ 3 Blade *AMAZING CONDITION*.
Ok vintage pocket knives are not my specialty so PLEASE ask questions if you have them. From what I can gather this is an original Schatt&Morgan 3 blade. This is not a queen steel remake. I’ve done some research and found that this knife was made between 1903-1932 ( picture 12 )and is incredibly rare to find in this condition. There is nothing on eBay currently or in the sold history even comes close to the condition of this knife. The blades have minor scuffs from opening and closing. This knife obviously spent its life in a drawer and not in a pocket. I recently took this to a gun show in Ohio and showed it to some very well know knife collectors and all of them were awed with the condition of this knife. 2 of the 3 collectors offered some real high end trades for this knife but I was not interested in what they had. I’m a vintage Marbles stag on stag collector and neither had any of those. There is a small hairline crack in the bone handles near 1 of the bottom bolsters ( pictured in 11) I don’t believe crack is through the bone but I noticed it so I need to list it. As mentioned before I’m not an expert in this knife so please ask questions if you have them. USA sales only. Must be 18 to purchase.
