I am offering some fine collectible pocket knives for sale. See my other auction listings for more collectible knives.
This is a vintage Case 5254 “Trapper” pattern pocket knife.
The tang stamp is CASE XX 1940-1964.
This is a “first model” with the slightly narrower lower bolster.
The knife is 4-1/8” closed with nickel silver liners and pinned oval CASE shield.
The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.
    Both blades have strong snap.
Each blade is tight with no side to side wobble.
The handles are genuine Sambar stag.
The front handle has a tight crack under the center pin (see photos).
    Used, carried, and sharpened.
Both blades are near full. Clip blade has very minor noticeable sharpening loss.
The blades each have patina and stains, light scratches.

Sales to USA Locations Only - Buyer must be at least 18 years of age.
Some states have started requiring eBay to collect sales tax on items going to these states. eBay has a list of those states that have started collecting sales tax in 2019 on online purchases. This is nothing I have control over and the sales tax is automatically added to your total by eBay if you reside in one of these states.

Any knives listed as having BONE handles have handles made of Bovine bone from the South American Zebu cattle.
Any knives listed as having STAG handles have handles made of Sambar deer antler - naturally shed.
