    Description

    Offered for sale is a piece of Chicago history, namely a coffee mug from the 1933/1934 "Century of Progress" World's Fair.  The mug was designed and decorated specifically for Stewarts Private Blend Coffee by Bauscher China of Weiden Bavaria.  The mug is white stoneware with a navy blue handle and stripe around the base and a red stripe around the top.  The center of the mug features a crest which may belong to "Stewart".  On the inside of the mug, are the words "Stewarts Private Blend Coffee, It's really good"  The mug measures 3-1/2" high with a base diameter of 2-1/2" and a top diameter of 3-1/2".  It holds 6 oz of liquid. It is in excellent condition with bright readable graphics.  It has no chips, cracks or hairlines and its condition defies its age.
    This mug is a must have for any Chicago memorabilia collector,  World's Fair collector or someone who just wants to jazz up their morning cuppa.
