The Eagle Knife Co. of New Haven, Connecticut was in business from 1916 to 1919.
Their main product was the all metal knife with wrap around handles like the one listed here.
The use of a single piece of metal to make a knife handle predates Eagle Knife, however, the manufacturing method they used to make these knives was patented by them and they invented the machinery used.
In 1919, Winchester Arms purchased the Eagle Knife Co. to acquire their machinery and methods, although to my knowledge Winchester never made a folded metal handled knife.
Wi
nchester also acquired Napanoch Knife Co. in 1919 and Walden Knife Co. in 1922 (through their merger with Simmons Hardware) and their product line reflected the patterns and quality of these cutleries.
If you have a Goin’s Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings, you will see a photo of this knife under the Eagle Knife entry.
A unique and rare 100+ year old knife with direct linkage to Winchester.

Thanks for looking and please check my other listings. I collected knives from 1992 until about 2000 and have decided to sell my collection. I usually list about 10 knives a week. Hope you see something you like.
