    Description

    Vintage plastic Texaco Fire Chief children’s toy helmet.  It was made by Park Plastics Co., Linden, New Jersey in the 1960s.  The helmet is in very good condition for its age.  It is complete with shield, eagle finial, microphone and holder, speaker, chin strap and number decal.  Coloring is bright with no fading present.  There is a hairline crack in the front shield.  The microphone was tested; when you press the button you can hear static coming from the speaker, but no voice (not sure what the issue is, but battery compartment is clean).  Helmet measures ~ 14” long, 11” wide and 8” tall to top of eagle.  Please see photos for details of condition.
