    Description

Vtg Rail Road/Ship Liberty Chimes 4 Resonator tone w/Striker Kohler-Liebich. This is Model 100. Should be from around the 1920’s - 30’s. These types of Chimes were used to sound off when Dinner was ready to be served on board trains or ships. Still Sounds awesome! Can’t help but hear the NBC Chime every time I play it. These are pretty rare items and don’t come around that often. This one was found at an estate sale in North Central Wi. Near Prentice.
Dark Mahogany or Blackish Wooden Sound Box, 4 Tarnished Gold Toned Metal Resonator Tubes. 4 Metal Keys/strike plates. 1 original striker.
Length approx. 13” at Longest Tube.
    Width approx. 7.5”
    Depth approx. 3”
Striker Mallet is approx. 6” in length
There are scratches missing paint on the box.
Someone has replaced the original cordage with wire/Guitar String like material.
3 of the resonator tubes have cracks near the bottom edge of approx. 1 inch. It Doesn’t seem to impact the sound when struck gently. (Someone like a Clock repair/Musical Instrument repair, might be able to suggest how to prevent any further stress to the tubes)
Item will be safely packaged and shipped USPS Priority unless buyer otherwise indicates to save on shipping cost.
